Join us as we kick off our fall Storytime for Toddlers with the help from the West Texas Homeschool Co-op! This program is brought to the public free of charge through our Laura Bush Literacy Program! These events are designed for a younger audience to allow our student readers to boost their confidence in their reading and public speaking skills. The reading will be done by the West Texas Homesch
Join us as we learn all about the natives from the area, the Spanish involvement with Texas, Texas and the Civil War, all about the Alamo, oil barons, and much more!
Children will have the opportunity to learn from local experts on native artifacts, presidents, and oil field history. Each segment will be accompanied by an arts & craft project, a story time, and outside activities.

Join us every Third Thursday of the month from 4:30 to 5:30 as we host our Third Thursday Reading Event brought to the public through our Laura Bush Literacy Program! The event will be held in our visitors center for children of all ages! We will read a number of books, including our feature book for the month. Children in attendance will receive a copy of our featured book and a special gift from

This fundraiser helps support this wonderful and unique piece of living history. We will have a number of one of a kind silent auction items including some special items from local vendors, Bush memorabilia, and much more!
